Recently, a delegation from a well‑known Brazilian transformer manufacturer visited Henan Angang South Electromagnetic New Materials for factory audit. Both sides held in‑depth discussions on customized R&D of high‑end oriented electrical steel, product certification and long‑term supply, helping Angang silicon steel expand into the American market.
Previously, the Brazilian client’s project was stalled due to restrictive indexes including silicon steel thickness, iron loss and magnetic induction. Jointly with the technical team of Sendian Electric Power Equipment, Angang South Electromagnetic carried out targeted research and developed customized high‑end oriented electrical steel. Actual test results show its performance is 10% higher than customer expectations with indexes exceeding international standards, winning high recognition from overseas clients.
The Brazilian delegation conducted on‑site inspection of the production base. Technical exchanges on production lines, quality control and customized R&D were carried out and cooperation consensus was reached. The NOM certification required for North‑American market access was officially initiated, laying a foundation for bulk exports.In Q2 2026, the company promoted end‑user direct supply and expanded domestic and international channels. Monthly output stably reached 6,000 tons from April to May. Fourteen new end‑users were developed, with monthly sales hitting 5,700 tons and 6,200 tons respectively. Both production and sales kept growing.
